Editorial focus

 

The International Journal of Business and Management Science (IJBMS) (Print: ISSN 1837-6614; Online: 1985-692X) is a double-blind peer-reviewed semiannual journal and edited by the founding editor in chief of the International Journal of Management and Entrepreneurship (ISSN 1823-3538). Generally it publishes the articles that expand knowledge on business and management practices. Business Complexity and Performance Management were the two of the top ten problems of 20th century management. In the 21st century, overcoming such problems seem to be challenging to educators and practitioners. Do educators and practitioners agree on which management skills are required for success in the 21st century? These all issues call for substantial research to achieve a very modern sustainable business era of the global economy. IJBMS intends to focus on the business and management issues with the vision of sustainable competitiveness.

 

Knowing how to publish papers in the eminent journals.

 

Review policy

The submitted manuscript is provided with edit-suggestions, if requires, by chief editor until it is ready for external or internal review. Once a manuscript is ready in all aspects of IJBMS's requirement is sent out for review and a double-blind peer-review is conducted. Reviewed manuscript is examined by chief editor and author is notified the decision on publication. If further review or resubmission is required, author is communicated. A usual process of publication is followed onward this stage. If author agrees with the above review process is requested to send  the Copyright Transfer Form along with the manuscript.

IJBMS calls for the contributions that cover all kinds of managerial and business aspects such as human resource management, corporate governance, small business management, business ventures, industrial performance, business economics and relevant other issues. IJBMS processes a decision on publication in 5-6 weeks to save authors' valuable time.

IJBMS is published in July and December regularly with irregular special issues. Each issue of IJBMS includes full length research paper, review paper, research or methodological note, short communication, book review and case studies. Professionals can contribute to the case study section where contributions can be made based on their personal view relevant to managerial problems and remedies. IJBMS appreciates contributions with in-dept synthesis by the company managers in solving managerial problems. The journal also calls for contributions by the managers on the management strategy that offers better performance of the company.
